CONFERENCE DESCRIPTION

“Our New World” is the theme of the New Mexico Behavioral Health Providers Association’s (NMBHPA) first Annual Conference which will be held on May 23-24, 2019. The conference reflects on the current changes happening in New Mexico’s healthcare landscape. From the leadership of the new administration to the day-to-day provision of care and payment for services, healthcare providers are rapidly moving into a new world reflected in the “Quintuple Aim,” which describes that a thriving and sustainable safety net results in:
• Better Care
• Better Health
• Lower Costs
• Happier Staff
• Reduced Heath Disparities

The conference will use “MAHP,” Model for Achieving High Performance in Primary Care, and Behavioral Health as a framework for presentations. Listen to state leaders describe their commitment to and plans for positive change, learn how Value Based Payment models and integrated care improves lives and extends care options and hear about the basic elements of new health care models that are demonstrated through multiple New Mexico behavioral health projects.
Come and enjoy an engaging learning environment, opportunities to build partnerships, and take away ideas that support change as we move into “Our New World.”
